Wendy Greatbatch, originally from Gisborne, was awarded a University of Auckland Chancellor’s Award for Top Māori and Pacific Scholars and is currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science conjoint.
Wendy’s scholarship covers her tuition and compulsory fees for three years, as well as accommodation in her first year.
The University of Auckland awards more than 300 entry-level scholarships every year. The closing date for most scholarships is
2 September 2011.
