Meeting a wide range of people with similar interests is one of the highlights of University life for Therese Kiely. Therese has made the most of social opportunities, playing netball, attending church, teaching Polynesian dancing, watching live rugby, socialising with friends and organising fitness training. And she shares tales of her University life with high school students through a University blog.
This year she was also a volunteer performer in the Rugby World Cup opening ceremony. "I love how I can experience different tastes of Auckland flavour - the diversity makes this a great place to live," she says.
Therese is in her first year of a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Theology conjoint at The University of Auckland.
