University has not only given Rebecca Song the chance to learn, it's also given her the opportunity to invest back into the lives of others. "As a second-year University of Auckland scholarship winner, I mentor a first-year winner," she says. "It's enriching as I can help someone else in a similar situation to me.
"I'm also a member of UN Youth New Zealand where I have met people with the same interests not just from the University, but from all over the world.
Rebecca lives at O'Rorke Hall as a Residential Assistant. "O'Rorke is a hub of young energy that on one scale redefines active social lives and on the other features limitless potential for intellectual growth. Living in the inner city means there is always something to do."
Rebecca is from Hamilton and is in her second year of a Bachelor of Arts /Bachelor of Laws conjoint at The University of Auckland.
