Flatting in Ponsonby, surfing in Piha and attending gigs in the CBD - socially Max Biggs has Auckland covered. Originally from Wellington, Max is making the most of Auckland's attractions. "Because of its size, Auckland draws some of the best concerts and gigs, and has a good arts scene," he says. "I've had the chance to usher at the NZ Film Festival and I've joined the film club, underwater club and Oxfam on campus.
"The Engineering Science department also runs its own sports leagues and this year organised a coast to coast relay race. Plus I'm part of the Auckland University Engineering Society which throws engineering steins - guaranteed to be a big night out!"
Max is in his second year of a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) conjoint at The University of Auckland.
